An online loan in the form of a debt consolidation loan can be an effective way to pay off credit card debt and other debts, but it’s not suitable for everyone. Please speak to one of our specialist team members who can help discuss the best option for your needs. 

To apply for a personal loan you need to:

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Be an Australian citizen, Permanent Resident or New Zealand citizen
  • Be full-time, permanent part-time or casual employee
  • Sole Traders, Partnerships, Company & Trusts
  • Have your photo ID documents handy, such as your Australian driver’s license or passport
  • Require a minimum $5,000 loan

 

When you apply or request a quote for an online loan, we need to know a little about your needs and your finances. We’ll also make some enquiries to help us verify your information. Using this information, we’ll assess your eligibility to receive credit and your capacity to service a loan. If you qualify for a loan, we will provide you with your personal interest rate and the maximum amount you can borrow. There are times when we may not be able to offer a loan, such as if your recent credit history is unsuitable or there is insufficient capacity to service a loan.

We do need to complete a credit check in order to be able to accurately estimate your personalised loan terms.

However, before proceeding with an application, we are able to review your credit information with a credit bureau (also called a credit reporting body) through a ‘soft enquiry’. This soft enquiry is recorded on your credit file as a “File Access Only” enquiry, this type of enquiry is only visible to you and does not impact your credit score. If the quote is accepted the next step is a formal application, at this stage a hard enquiry is made, commonly known as a credit hit/application. This enquiry will be visible and remain on your credit file for up to 5 Years.

In Australia if your Bureau credit score is below 450 and you have adverse data on your credit report you may not be eligible. However we will always use our resources and access to over 50+ lenders to explore all avenues to assist you with finance where possible.

Yes, you can make early repayments, or even pay off the entirety of your loan early without extra charge or penalty.

This will depend on the loan you take out, and under what terms.

Your personalised interest rate is fixed for the term of the loan (unless you request a Top Up). This way you know exactly what your repayments will be for the life of the loan, from the start of your loan.

Yes, you are able to withdraw/cancel your loan. 

In most cases, you can change your direct debit frequency, provided that each required payment is paid in full by its due date. You may also be able to change the date that each monthly required payment is due, subject to our agreement. Just get in touch with our Customer Service team.

You are required to pay the monthly amount owed in full by the due date as per your loan contract. A dishonour fee of $15 may apply should any repayments be dishonoured.

Your bank may also change its own dishonour fees.

Further, if you miss a required payment and this remains unpaid, it will be recorded in your credit history and may affect your credit score.

In Australia, borrowers who maintain their regular repayment schedule will be charged only the one-off Establishment Fee. A dishonour fee of $15 may apply should repayments be dishonoured.

A secured loan is where the lender requires some sort of guarantee against the money you’re borrowing from them, like a car for example. Depending on your circumstances, the lender may provide lower interest rates compared to an unsecured loan.

With an unsecured loan, you’re approved based on the lender’s assessment of your ability to make repayments, rather than requiring additional security of an asset. Unsecured loan interest rates can potentially be higher.

A credit score is used to represent the creditworthiness of the person. AnyTime Financial  will use credit scores to partly determine who qualifies for a personal loan, at what interest rate, and what credit limits.

Credit bureaus like Equifax use the following credit score groupings:

  • Average = 510-621
  • Good = 622-725
  • Very Good = 726-832
  • Excellent = 833-1200

There are many factors that may impact your credit score such as a number of enquiries, adverse credit listings and personal information held on credit file. 

All of our personal loan applicants are required to have an acceptable form of ID. The ID we require is either a current Australian passport or a current Australian driver’s license. Depending on the outcome of your personal loan application, we may ask to see some additional documentation..

What we ask for is different for each application, however to speed up the process it is worth ensuring you have the following to hand: Front & Back of your ID documents, Proof of employment and income, Details of your existing credit commitments, Proof of address, Details of your rent/mortgage payments, Bank statements.

As part of AnyTime Financial’s responsible lending obligations we must enquire about the purpose of the loan. Understanding the purpose also gives AnyTime Financial the opportunity to ensure that the loan is right for you.

Once you’ve received full approval on your loan and we have received the necessary documentation, the funds will typically be transferred into your nominated bank account the next business day (subject to your bank’s direct credit processing times).
